Was the volume of liposuction controlled for in this study? How about the type of anesthesia - local versus IV sedation versus general anesthesia? How many of the abdominoplasties with rectus plication and liposuction (higher risk case) were actually performed by dermatologists?

Without these factors accounted for, it seems like a simplistic and biased analysis....more of a press release than actual science.
